My Interests
About Me: I'm a composer of orchestral, choral and theatrical works, and more recently film as well. I haven't done much chamber music, but would like to.
Currently I'm most interested in writing song cycles, and have a few in the pipeline, as well as a one-act musical.
I've recently created StudyScores.com, which makes it easy for classical musicians to find study scores and related materials online.
Favorite composers: Ravel, Bartók, Kodály, Stravinsky, Bernstein, Sondheim, Adams, Reich, Adamo. Also like non-classical things from Burt Bacharach to Tom Waits.
Favorite piece of music: Ravel: Piano Trio
